With a background in journalism, marketing, and public relations, he brings an informed perspective to his writing.
As a left-handed vegan, he believes kindness is a choice we can all afford.
Animal News Ireland is a passion project based on a deep sense of responsibility towards animal rights and welfare.
It is self-funded by site owner, John Tierney, alongside donations from our supporters.
As revenue streams, we offer display advertising and advertorial blog posts opportunities for animal welfare organisations, and businesses offering animal-focused products and services.
We also host Animal Guardian Directory Ireland, which connects Ireland’s animal‑focused businesses, services and creators with the guardians who need them.
